OH, by the way, concerning books:
I finished reading The Fellowship of the Ring! And it was pretty good. Like The Hobbit, it kind of dragged on, and me knowing very little about the trilogy thought they’d have the Ring taken care of at the end of the book. Oh, no. Some parts were exciting, some parts were interesting, but I felt like it didn’t really pick up and get really, really cool until the last third of the book. But that’s okay. It’s a helluva long walk from the Shire to Mordor; I forgive them for taking so long.
Sam and Frodo are so cute together, I can’t handle it ;3;
UGH I just love everybody.
I started reading The Two Towers, and I’m very glad that it leapt immediately into the action, although they’re spending a lot of time focusing on Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas trying to find Pippin and Merry…I’m itching to see how Frodo and Sam are doing.
I feel like I’ve sufficiently read enough Tolkien to finally watch the movies.
Also, I’ve decided to try and read the Dresden Files again. I read the first two books about three years ago, and I liked them; but I didn’t read any more. They were eh. Okay. All right but nothing special. For some reason, I feel like reading them again, though. You know how sometimes you just feel like reading a certain kind of book? You’re in the mood for something specific…I’m in the mood for the Dresden Files. So I’ve started rereading Storm Front and I have a new appreciation for it.
I want to see Django Unchained tonight.
I also want to see Les Miserables, The Hobbit, and Wreck-It Ralph...maybe I should see one or two movies tomorrow…I’m just afraid that I’ll miss my chance to see them in theaters. I think I’ll see Wreck-It Ralph, since that’s been out for a while now.
