I love going to the movies. I don’t do it nearly as often as I should. I suffer from the delusion that I don’t have enough money, but of course I do, especially if I budget for the occasion.

I need to get out more. People tell me this a lot. I thought they meant go to clubs and talk to people or whatever, to which I staunchly objected. But no one told me you could go out, alone, and do something actually enjoyable, like seeing a movie.

I need to get out more…for various reasons. I don’t need to get into them right now. Suffice to say, I’ll probably see a movie this weekend. I could see a movie every weekend, or every other weekend. This is an exciting prospect. For every ten awful movies, there has to be at least two pretty good ones, right?

And Sundance Cinemas often plays older/classic movies, too, so there’s that. They’re playing Jaws on August 23.
